The April Shower All In One Dial-A-Spray Filter contains two filtering mediums, KDF (copper/zinc) and Chlorgon (mineral salt). Together, they remove up to 99% free and combined chlorine, hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell), iron oxides (rust water), odors, sediment and small traces of lead. Plus, it helps pH balance the water. When each cartridge is used, the media may be composted in a lawn or flower garden and, the plastic casing may be recycled.
